About Me:
I have adopted six children, born between 1983 and 1995. I also now have two grandchildren, who are the light of my life! I have experience with many different situations, including transracial adoption, adopting children with serious health issues, interstate adoption. I spend more time writing about breastfeeding adopted babies than any other topic. I had wanted to breastfeed my babies from the time I was a little girl. It did require extra effort, but I felt like there were benefits that made it all worth while. I try to help others who are interested, hoping to help them skip some of the trial and error I had to go through in order to learn how to do it. I feel more of a need to share my experience with that topic because there are so few adoptive moms who have done it, and even fewer who have done it as long and in such a large variety of circumstances as I have. I have been disappointed, recently, to see some very negative and even insulting comments on some of the forums. I
