Death either destroys us or unmasks us. If it means liberation, better things await us when our burden is gone; if destruction, nothing at all awaits us, blessings and curses are abolished.

Jai - My beautiful husband, my soul mate, my world. I hope one day we will meet again.
Please wait for me. Rest in Peace my angel. I love you.

About Me: My name is Emma :) I turned 21 last year & when I did, something changed in me. I was always interested in my birthmother & finding out about her, but I have since found it to be a much more complicated matter.
I now need to contact her for health reasons, but want to do it in a way that shows her that I'm not only doing it for that, but because I love & miss her dearly.
...told you it's complicated!
I'm also struggling to come to terms with my cousins death. She passed away nearly three years ago now, but I was always three years younger than her.. and I'm turning 22 in July, older than she ever got a chance to be. |

Childhood Memory:
|
So many - I had a great childhood. I am an only child (have a lot of half brothers & sisters) but my next door neighbour Amy, & my cousin Sarah became like sisters to me. The three of us used to tear around going crazy, they were the best times. Sarah is now 24, Amy is 23 & I'm 21.

Movie Quote:
|
"Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what's to come. But that night, I think we knew it was time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn't have to hate each other for getting older"
