About Me:
All my life I have wanted to be a mother. Due to family illness I practically raised my brother and sister. I SO wanted to be a mother to my own child. When I was 25 and still not married let alone pregnant, I was devastated. I met my husband when I was 28 and told him that I could not get serious with him because he had a vasectomey. He swore that he would get it reversed. We were married and had the surgery the following year. Three years later we were still not pregnant. Seems the drug DES that I had been exposed to before I was born had indeed caused me to be infertile as it does many women who were exposed. We decided to adopt and were blessed with a 2 day old little boy that was born testing positive for drugs. Four months later we were asked to take placement of an 8 week old baby who had also been exposed to drugs. He has many other issues and we were scared he might not overcome the malnutrition he had suffered. Fast forward a year later and both boys have been adopted and are |
